Review Policies
I welcome requests from authors, publishers, and publicists to review YA books and am happy to read advance reader copies. I do not review self-published works, however.
I read and review many genres of young adult literature--adventure, mystery, suspense, historical, realistic, romance, dystopian, science fiction, fantasy, supernatural, nonfiction. I rarely read horror, adult fiction, or graphic novels.
All reviews posted on this blog are my personal opinion. Therefore, I try to be as constructive as possible when posting in the "What I Loved" and "What I Didn't Love" categories of my reviews. I do not accept monetary compensation for reviews.
Each of my reviews includes a cover image, a summary/description from either Goodreads or the book jacket, my personal opinion of the plot/characterization/writing style, a rating of 1-5, and a link to purchase or pre-order the book. I try to make a timely response in reviewing requested materials.
Contest Policies
- All contest participants must be at least 13 years old.
- Only US entries, please.
- Winners will be chosen randomly.
- Winners will be notified via email and will have 48 hours to respond in order to receive the prize. I am not responsible for prizes lost in the mail.
- I have the right to disqualify any entries.
